Six Feet Under

Six Feet Under is an American drama television series created and produced by Alan Ball. It premiered on the premium cable network HBO in the United States on June 3, 2001 and ended on August 21, 2005, spanning five seasons and 63 episodes. The show revolves around members of the Fisher family, who run their funeral home in Los Angeles, and their friends and lovers. The series traces these characters' lives over the course of five years. The ensemble drama stars Peter Krause, Michael C. Hall, Frances Conroy, Lauren Ambrose, Freddy Rodriguez, Mathew St. Patrick and Rachel Griffiths as the shows seven central characters.

Six Feet Under received widespread critical acclaim, particularly for its writing and acting, and consistently drew high ratings for the HBO network. Six Feet Under has frequently been described by critics as one of the greatest television series of all time as well as having one of the greatest series finales of all time. It won numerous awards, including nine Emmy Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and a Peabody Award. Six Feet Under is such a good programme. It is very dark and touches on things most shows don't. After only 5 seasons it seems a little short as it could have ran and ran but it makes it even better that it didn't have the opportunity to get stupid and unbelievable with loads of seasons. And the finale is the most amazing piece of television you will ever see.

Beyonce's brand new music video for her current hit single 'Best Thing I Never Had' was released an hour ago. Here it is. It is a very nice video, different and beautifully shot. I like that she isn't trying to be Lady Gaga or Rihanna and just making her own different style. 

Tomb Raider - Gameplay Footage

E3 Released footage of actual gameplay from the new 'Tomb Raider' game. Set to be released Autumn 2012 the first 10 minutes of the game looks awsome and I can't wait for more.

Lady Gaga Announces Confirmed Songs For Born This Way Ball

Lady gaga confirmed on her Twitter today that she will be singing 'Heavy Metal Lover', 'Poker Face', 'Just Dance', 'Paparazzi', 'Dance In The Dark' and 'LoveGame' on her new Born This Way Ball Tour. 'Poker Face', 'LoveGame' and 'Just Dance' were obviously going to be sung but its interesting that she is going to be performing 'Dance In The Dark' a song that wasn't released from 'The Fame Monster' as a single. I am glad she is and the song is a definite fan favourite. Something tells me we can assume 'The Edge Of Glory' can be added to that list.

The Office - 10 Years Old

Ricky Gervais and Steve Merchant's 'The Office' is 10 years old this week. The first episode aired at 9.30pm on Monday July 9th 2001. Here is the best bits of the show all in one video. The show is amazing and one of the best shows in television history. Easily one of the best sitcoms ever.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

Watched the Mission Impossible films recently and they got better as they went on. Really enjoyed number 3. Number 4 looks set to be a really good film. It stars Tom Cruise again, alongside him are Simon Pegg and Josh Holloway (Sawyer from ABC's 'Lost'). Here is the trailer.
