Albums In Video: I Am... Sasha Fierce - Beyonce
This time it is Beyonce's 'I Am... Sasha Fierce'. 'I Am… Sasha Fierce' is the third studio album by American R&B recording artist Beyoncé. It was released on November 18, 2008, by Columbia Records. The album was released in dual disc format, in which both discs represent a contrasting facet to Knowles' personality and musical style. The first disc, I Am..., incorporates slow and mid-tempo R&B and pop ballads, while the second disc, Sasha Fierce, named after Knowles' on-stage alter ego, contains uptempo dance songs that blend Euro and electropop genres. A deluxe edition of the album was released simultaneously with the standard edition.
I Am... Sasha Fierce debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, having sold 482,000 units in its first week, becoming Knowles' third consecutive US number-one solo album. It became a commercial success, earning at least fifteen platinum certifications in separate markets worldwide. As of March 2011, I Am... Sasha Fierce had sold over seven million copies worldwide, with its digital tracks alone having sold more than 15 million units globally. The album garnered eight Grammy Award nominations at the 52nd annual ceremony, eventually collecting five wins. To promote the album, Knowles made several award show and televised appearances across Europe and America, as well as embarking on the worldwide I Am... Tour.
The album spawned several singles, some serving as international and stateside releases, while others were for promotional purposes. The two lead singles from I Am... Sasha Fierce, "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", were both international chart toppers. The former topped the charts in over eight countries and reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100, while the latter peaked inside the top ten in several major music markets, becoming her fifth number one single on the Hot 100 chart. "Diva" and "Ego" were released as US-only singles, while "Halo" and "Sweet Dreams" were promoted internationally as the third and fourth singles respectively. "Broken-Hearted Girl" was released internationally as the fifth single and "Video Phone", the final single, was released in November 2009.
Here is a promotional video for the song 'Why Don't You Love Me', which wasn't strictly a single but had a music video made for it.
Also included is 'Telephone' which Beyonce appeared on during the time of the 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' period.
Well Written Songs Week: Day 2 - The Colour Of My Love
Day 2 and this is a song written by David Foster in 1993, 'The Colour Of My Love'.
I'll paint my mood in shades of blue
Paint my soul to be with you
I'll sketch your lips in shaded tones
Draw your mouth to my own
I'll draw your arms around my waist
Then all doubt I shall erase
I'll paint the rain that softly lands on your wind-blown hair
I'll trace a hand to wipe out your tears
A look to calm your fears
A silhouette of dark and light
While we hold each other oh so tight
I'll paint a sun to warm your heart
Swearing that we'll never part
That's the colour of my love
I'll paint the truth
Show how I feel
Try to make you completely real
I'll use a brush so light and fine
To draw you close and make you mine
I'll paint a sun to warm your heart
Swearing that we'll never part
That's the colour of my love
I'll draw the years all passing by
So much to learn so much to try
And with this ring our lives will start
Swearing that we'll never part
I offer what you cannot buy
Devoted love until we die
I'll paint my mood in shades of blue
Paint my soul to be with you
I'll sketch your lips in shaded tones
Draw your mouth to my own
I'll draw your arms around my waist
Then all doubt I shall erase
I'll paint the rain that softly lands on your wind-blown hair
I'll trace a hand to wipe out your tears
A look to calm your fears
A silhouette of dark and light

Swearing that we'll never part

Swearing that we'll never part
That's the colour of my love
I'll draw the years all passing by
So much to learn so much to try
And with this ring our lives will start
Swearing that we'll never part
I offer what you cannot buy
Devoted love until we die

Bon Jovi - Hallelujah (Live)
Here is Bon Jovi singing Hallelujah, written by Leonard Cohen, live in Madison Square Gardens. Amazing song and even more amazing ending.
Matt Cardle - Run For Your Life
Here is Matt Cardle's debut single, 'Run For Your Life'. To me, while the song is ok, its a bit whiney and nothing very memerable for a debut, sounds more like an album track than a single. Also it sounds very simular to his X Factor single 'When We Collide'. Maybe it will grow with time, but on first listens, it's a bit nothing.
The Inbetweeners Movie 2
The team behind The Inbetweeners Movie may be planning a sequel, a report has suggested.
Following the success of the first movie - a spinoff from the original E4 sitcom - studio bosses have asked for a follow-up set at a wedding four years after the first film, The Mirror claims.
A production insider told the paper: "Initially we said the characters and themes had reached a natural conclusion. But the success has been too big to ignore and it makes perfect sense to give the fans what they want.
"It would be much more viable than making an extra series because the characters have moved on, so that's what we're doing."
The Inbetweeners Movie recorded the biggest live-action comedy opening ever in the UK earlier this month with takings of £20 million.
The source claimed that Will (Simon Bird), Simon (Joe Thomas) and Jay (James Buckley) will reunite to celebrate with Neil (Blake Harrison) as he gets married, adding: "The characters have all gone off and done different things but agree to hook up for his stag party and wedding."

Well Written Songs Week: Day 1 - Wind Beneath My Wings
This week is well written songs week. Songs that have the best lyrics and are sung well. Today is 'Wind Beneath My Wings'.
It must have been cold there in my shadow,
to never have sunlight on your face
You were content to let me shine, that's your way
You always walked a step behind
So I was the one with all the glory,
while you were the one with all the strength
A beautiful face without a name for so long
A beautiful smile to hide the pain
Did you ever know that you're my hero
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings
to never have sunlight on your face
You were content to let me shine, that's your way
You always walked a step behind
So I was the one with all the glory,
while you were the one with all the strength
A beautiful face without a name for so long
A beautiful smile to hide the pain
Did you ever know that you're my hero
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings
It might have appeared to go unnoticed
but I've got it all here in my heart
I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it
I would be nothing without you
Did you ever know that you're my hero?
You're everything I wish I could be
I could fly higher than an eagle
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings
Oh, the wind beneath my wings
You, you, you, you are the wind beneath my wings
Fly, fly, fly away. You let me fly so high
Oh, you, you, you, the wind beneath my wings
Oh, you, you, you, the wind beneath my wings
Fly, fly, fly high against the sky
So high I almost touch the sky
Thank you, thank you
Thank God for you, the wind beneath my wings
but I've got it all here in my heart
I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it
I would be nothing without you
Did you ever know that you're my hero?
You're everything I wish I could be
I could fly higher than an eagle
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings
Oh, the wind beneath my wings
You, you, you, you are the wind beneath my wings
Fly, fly, fly away. You let me fly so high
Oh, you, you, you, the wind beneath my wings
Oh, you, you, you, the wind beneath my wings
Fly, fly, fly high against the sky
So high I almost touch the sky
Thank you, thank you
Thank God for you, the wind beneath my wings
'Wind Beneath My Wings' was written in 1982 by Jeff Silbar and Larry Henley. They recorded a demo of the song, which they gave to musician Bob Montgomery. Montgomery then recorded his own demo version of the song, changing it from the mid-tempo version he was given to a ballad. Silbar and Henley then shopped the song to many artists, eventually resulting in Roger Whittaker becoming the first to release the song commercially. It appeared on his 1982 studio album, also titled 'Wind Beneath My Wings'.
Following Whittaker's recording, many other artists recorded the song, including Sheena Easton. Easton's version appeared on her 1982 studio album Madness, Money & Music, though it was not released as a single by her record company.
But the highest-charting version of the song to date was recorded in 1988 by singer and actress Bette Midler for the soundtrack to the film Beaches. This version of 'Wind Beneath My Wings' was released as a single in early 1989, spent one week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in June 1989, and won Grammy Awards for both Record of the Year and Song of the Year in February 1990. On October 24, 1991, Midler's single was also certitifed Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for shipment of one million copies in the United States.

Janet Jackson - Velvet Rope Tour MP3 Download
Janet Jackson's Velvet Rope Tour is an iconic tour. Due to the fact The Velvet Rope album contained autobiographical themes, Jackson developed the tour's concert setting as storybook, allowing spectators to cross her "velvet rope" and experience her life story through the evolution of her musical career. As with Jackson's previous tours, the intense choreography and complex production of her concerts drew frequent comparison to Broadway theatre. While a number of reviews reported her stage presence was as exceptional as ever, a number of critics also noted improvement in her vocal capability.

Michael Jackson - I'll Be There
Here is a special version of 'I'll Be There' filmd for a Pepsi advert, but later included on a 'Dangerous' album promo video. This is always one of my favourite Michael Jackson moments.
Leona Lewis - Glassheart
Leona Lewis's new album is causing upset amongst some. Leona Lewis has admitted that her record label Syco is "scared" about her new album. The singer, who found fame when she won the second series of The X Factor, claims she has been experimenting with different sounds on the upcoming album. Asked if the label bosses understood her new album, Leona told The Guardian: "They're slightly scared!" Leona said that she had resisted pressure from the label to release albums more frequently, predicting she "would've had a gazillion albums by now" had she given in.
Discussing Bleeding Love, Lewis revealed that it was her who chose the single, despite reluctance from her label. She said: "Everyone said, 'It's weird, it won't work on the radio'." However, after the track went to number one in 34 countries, Leona says Simon Cowell "really trusts my instincts" and allows her "any amount of time I want" to complete her records. She said: "Simon and I mostly agree but there have been arguments definitely."
I am looking forward to a new Leona with a more daring sense of direction. Leona is to release her new album Glassheart on November 28.
Well Written Songs: Something New In My Life
Something New In My Life
Alan Bergman, Marilyn Bergman, Michael Legrand, 1984
I guess I wanted something new in my life
A new key to fit a new door
To wake and see a different view in my life
What I've been waiting for
Dreams like everyone I had a few in my life
Who knew that this one would come true in my life
I knew the moment when you touched me
You touched me
You're like a sudden breeze that blew in my life
A new face, a new smile, a new song
And now I know I wanted you in my life all along
You're like a chance I had to take in my life
I found you and couldn't lose you
And all the difference that you make in my life
The feelings I never knew
I guess I must have saved an empty place in my heart
For you to come and fill the space in my heart
That long before I said, I loved you
I loved you
Whatever happens this is true in my life
When all the springs have come and gone
Whatever doors I may go through in my life
Whatever else that I may do in my life
You'll always be the something new in my life
From now on
I know there always will be you in my life
From now on
