Looking has been renewed for a second season, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed.
The HBO show, which stars former Glee
actor Jonathan Groff, began in the UK on Sky Atlantic in January and
follows the lives of a group of gay friends living in San Francisco.
For
the second season, Britain’s Russell Tovey, who appears as Kevin, has
been promoted to a series regular alongside the lead trio of Groff
(Paddy), Murray Bartlett (Dom) and Frankie J. Alvarez (Agustin).
Lauren Weedma, who plays Doris, and Raul Castillo, who appears as Richie, have also been made series regulars.
The second season will begin filming later this year (2014), once again in and around San Francisco and the Bay Area.
In
the US, two episodes of the eight-episode first season are yet to air,
while in the UK there are still three episodes remaining.
