Twilight Could Get More Sequels After Breaking Dawn Part 2

The Twilight franchise could spawn more sequels even though the last big-screen adaptation of the vampire novels is set to be released this year. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, which will hit cinemas on November 16, 2012, will tie in with the fourth and final novel in the series authored by Stephanie Meyer, and was also assumed to be the last instalment in the film series. But Jon Feltheimer – chief of Lionsgate, the studio responsible for overseeing the films – has hinted to the Los Angeles Time that the story could still continue even after the release of Breaking Dawn – Part 2.

"I'm anticipating Breaking Dawn – Part 2 being $700 million-plus (£457 million) in worldwide box office," said Feltheimer when asked about the likelihood of the franchise continuing. He went on to add:  It's hard for me to imagine a movie that does $700 million-plus that doesn't have ongoing value. It's an amazing franchise that they have done a great job of maintaining with absolutely no deterioration. So the simple answer is 'Boy I hope so'.
