Jennifer Lopez - Same Girl - Music Video

I'm not a fan of this song. I usually love Jennifer Lopez's music but this just feels like a return to her early R&B style music and for her the club music was a lot better.

A Million Ways To Die In The West - Trailer

This film looks very good.

Top Movies Of 2014

Here are some of the movies that are very anticipated this year, including X-Men: Days Of Future Past, The Amazing Spiderman 2, Robocop, Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The Lego Movie - Trailer

New trailer for The Lego Movie.

One Direction - Midnight Memories - Music Video

New music video from One Direction. This song is great but not their best, however the video sort of makes up for it. I think this song goes to show that even when they aren't at their best, they are still brilliant. I hope that they don't follow the pattern of releasing only 3 songs from their album and released a 4th and even 5th single from 'Midnight Memories' as 'You And I' and 'Don't Forget Where You Belong' would all make brilliant singles.

Once Upon A Crime - Episode 5 - Cinderella Vs Snow White

This had me in stitches the whole way through. It doesn't matter what Willam Belli does he always makes it brilliant.

Shakira & Rihanna - Can't Remember To Forget You - Music Video

I have to be honest, I am not a fan of this song. I haven't liked anything of Shakira's since 'Illegal' and even Rihanna fails to make this song any good. I has an interesting vibe but just doesn't work for me.

Kylie Minogue - Timebomb - Music Video

I always forget how good this song is!

Kylie Minogue - Into The Blue - Lyric Video

Lyric video for Kylie's brilliant new single, 'Into The Blue'.

Phil Collins - ... But Seriously, I Must Be Going Tour - Set List

Phil Collins has announced a possible comeback and this got me wanting a set list that would be great for a kind of 'Farewell Tour' part two. The tour would ring true to its title, playing mainly songs from his original albums and performing songs that haven't been played for years. Seeing him perform many unplayed songs from 'Face Value' all these years later would just be amazing. The show would not feature mainly hits, but instead mainly album tracks with the show heavy on hits towards the end.
  1. Even More Drums (Opening) (Drums become next song)
  2. Only You Know And I Know (Drums become opening of next song)
  3. I Cannot Believe Its True (Drums become opening of next song)
  4. Don’t Lose My Number
  5. One More Night
  6. Thunder And Lightning/I Missed Again/Behind The Lines
  7. You Know What I Mean (Collins at the piano singing with just that as accompaniment)
  8. Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)
  9. Hang In Long Enough
  10. Both Sides Of The Story
  11. All Of My Life
  12. Droned (excerpt)/Hand In Hand (excerpt)/Saturday Night And Sunday Morning/The West Side (excerpt)
  13. I Don’t Care Anymore
  14. If Leaving Me Is Easy
  15. In The Air Tonight
  16. Easy Lover
  17. Something Happened On The Way To Heaven
  18. You Can’t Hurry Love/Two Hearts/It Don’t Matter To Me (becomes next song)
  19. Sussudio
  20. ENCORE
  21. A Groovy Kind Of Love (simular to the But Seriously Tour, Collins returns to the stage after the encore and performs the next song) (on the last extended note, the next song starts)
  22. Drums Again (Closing)
  23. Take Me Home
  24. Always

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Lead Grammy Award Winners

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Jay-Z and Daft Punk are among the stars vying for glory at the prestigious Grammy Awards. The Los Angeles ceremony is the biggest night in the US music calendar. Hip-hop duo Macklemore and Lewis were among the early winners, picking up four awards - best new artist plus best rap album, song and performance.

French dance duo Daft Punk have three prizes so far, while Justin Timberlake has won two. Rap giant Jay-Z leads the field with nine nominations. Many of the 82 winners were named at a preliminary ceremony before the main televised event. They included Adele's James Bond theme Skyfall, which won the prize for best song written for visual media. It has been a good night for British veterans, with Led Zeppelin winning best rock album for their live recording Celebration Day.

Black Sabbath scooped best metal performance, while Sir Paul McCartney took the trophy for best music film. Other British nominees included Ed Sheeran and James Blake, who were both up for best new artist.

The main ceremony is known for its heavyweight on-stage collaborations and this year's show was opened by Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce. Other highlights will include Daft Punk, Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams being joined by Stevie Wonder to perform their hit Get Lucky. Queens of the Stone Age will join forces with Nine Inch Nails, Dave Grohl and Lindsey Buckingham are to close the show, while Madonna is expected to perform with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Jay-Z has the most nominations, up for awards including best rap song and best rap album. But he was left out of the three main categories - song, record and album of the year. Rapper Macklemore and producer Ryan Lewis, who found fame after self-releasing their album The Heist, are up for a total of seven awards, including album of the year and song of the year for Same Love. Pharrell Williams is listed twice for record of the year and twice for album of the year thanks to his work with Daft Punk, Robin Thicke and Kendrick Lamar. LA rapper Lamar also has seven nominations including album of the year for Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, plus best rap album, best rap performance and best new artist.

Justin Timberlake has seven nominations including best pop solo performance and best R&B song - but he was shut out of the main three categories. Other leading contenders include 17-year-old New Zealand singer Lorde, who is up for record of the year, song of the year and best pop solo performance for her hit Royals.
There are five nominations each for Canadian hip-hop star Drake and mastering engineer Bob Ludwig, who is rewarded for his work with Daft Punk and the Rolling Stones.

The Rolling Stones will go up against Sir Paul McCartney in the best rock song category. The Stones' Doom And Gloom, from their 50th anniversary album GRRR!, is up against Cut Me Some Slack, a collaboration between Sir Paul and the surviving members of Nirvana. The other nominees in that category are veteran metal band Black Sabbath, stadium rockers Muse and US singer-guitarist Gary Clark Jr, the only non-British nominee on that shortlist. Calvin Harris was up for best dance/electronica album for 18 Months and best dance recording for Sweet Nothing with Florence and the Machine's Florence Welch, but lost out on both. UK acts Duke Dumont and Disclosure were also unsuccessful nominees in the dance categories.

George Michael - The Ultimate Playlist

This is a series of posts where I am putting together the best 10 songs of the chosen artist or band. Whether the songs come from the same album, are a remix, live version or a cover version, this is just what I consider the best 10 works of that person/band.This time its George Michael.
  • Every Other Lover In The World [Kinky Roland Remix]
      • This is officially an unreleased song by George Michael, however he has made no secret the song exists. Until now only remixes of the song exist but this one in particular is brilliant.
  • The Strangest Thing '97
      • This is a reworked version of the 1996 song from the album 'Older'. This version was included on his 'Ladies & Gentlemen: The Best Of George Michael' collection.
  • Waiting For That Day
      • I have always loved this song from his 1990 album, 'Listen Without Prejudice'. The song incorporates The Rolling Stones classic, 'You Can't Always Get What You Want'.
  • White Light
      • This song has a very dark undertone, but with most of George Michael's works that is when he is at his best. Written about him almost dying, this song has a brilliant club beat and has the ability to be listened to over and over.
  • This Is Not Real Love
      • This duet with Mutya was a breath of fresh air when we started getting new music after a a year break and this dark love ballad has always been a favorite of mine.
  • I Can't Make You Love Me
      • George Michael's cover of the Shamblin/Reid classic is my favorite version of the song. Originally a B-Side to 'Older' in 1996, but later included in his 'Ladies & Gentlemen: The Best Of George Michael' collection.
  • Secret Love
      • George Michael often gets overlooked for his ability to play Jazz standards. This should change with the release of his 'Symphonica' album later this year. However there are some brilliant standards on his 'Songs From The Last Century' album, from 1999. George Michael has always classed this album as his period where he was finding it hard to write music, however this album of covers masks that completely, and 'Secret Love' shows that he has the ability to sing them very well.
  • Outside
      • This will always be one of the ultimate George Michael songs purely because of the courage behind the meaning. From 'Ladies & Gentlemen: The Best Of George Michael'.
  • Flawless (Go To The City)
      • This is the ultimate 'gay' song. Sampling the brilliant track by The Ones, this song is from George Michael's 'Patience album (2004).
  •  You Have Been Loved
      • This song from his 1996 album, 'Older'. This song tells an amazing story and deserves to be listened to and concentrated on.

Kylie Minogue - The Ultimate Playlist

This is the first of a series of posts I am going to do putting together the best 10 songs of the chosen artist or band. Whether the songs come from the same album, are a remix, live version or a cover version, this is just what I consider the best 10 works of that person/band. Starting with Kylie Minogue.
  • Spinning Around [Live, X2008 Tour]
      • Taken from her X2008 Tour to promote her 'X' album, this version features elements of the 70's disco hit 'Got To Be Real' by Cheryl Lynn.
  • Get Outta My Way
      • Taken from her 'Aphrodite' album in 2010.
  • Dancefloor
      • Taken from her 2001 album, 'Fever'. This is a very over looked song. She has never performed the song live, which is a shame because its a very good dancing song.
  •  Please Stay
      • Taken from her 2000 album, 'Light Years'. This is one of my favorite Kylie songs of all time. It is sometimes performed live, but hasn't been for a while.
  • Dangerous Game
      • Taken from her lesser known 1994 album, 'Kylie Minogue', 'Dangerous Game' is really Kylie stepping out of her comfort zone and giving a power ballad that shows her voice very well.
  • Better The Devil You Know [Movers & Shakers Alternative 12" Mix]
      • This is a remix of her hit originally from her 1990 album, 'Rhythm Of Love'.
  • Put Yourself In My Place
      • Taken from her '1994' album, 'Kylie Minogue', this song is rarely performed live, but really works when she does it.
  • Shocked/What Do I Have To Do?/Spinning Around [Everything Taboo Medley] [Live, Showgirl: Homecoming Tour]
      • This amazing medley includes excerpts of many songs including 'Finally', 'It's No Secret', 'Give Me Just A Little More Time', 'What Kind Of Fool (Heard All That Before)', 'Step Back In Time' and 'Keep On Pumpin' It' meanwhile showcasing 3 of Kylie's greatest hits.
  • Hand On Your Heart [Abbey Road Version]
      • Originally from her 'Enjoy Yourself' album in 1989, this version completely renews the song and gives it a nice feel that reminds me of Christmas.
  • All I See
      • Taken from her 2007 album, 'X'. This is a simple but effective song that gets stuck in your head. This should have been a much bigger hit than it was!

Adele is working with Phil Collins on material for her new studio album.

Collins revealed in a recent interview with Inside South Florida that Adele contacted him over a potential collaboration. He said: “I’ve just started to work with Adele. She contacted me to write together. “I wasn’t actuality too aware [of her]. I live in a cave [but] she’s achieved an incredible amount and I really love her voice and I love some of that stuff she’s done. So, to me, it’s always an eye-opener. Educational,” he added.
