Leona Lewis - Glassheart

Leona Lewis's new album is causing upset amongst some. Leona Lewis has admitted that her record label Syco is "scared" about her new album. The singer, who found fame when she won the second series of The X Factor, claims she has been experimenting with different sounds on the upcoming album. Asked if the label bosses understood her new album, Leona told The Guardian: "They're slightly scared!" Leona said that she had resisted pressure from the label to release albums more frequently, predicting she "would've had a gazillion albums by now" had she given in.

Discussing Bleeding Love, Lewis revealed that it was her who chose the single, despite reluctance from her label. She said: "Everyone said, 'It's weird, it won't work on the radio'." However, after the track went to number one in 34 countries, Leona says Simon Cowell "really trusts my instincts" and allows her "any amount of time I want" to complete her records. She said: "Simon and I mostly agree but there have been arguments definitely."

I am looking forward to a new Leona with a more daring sense of direction. Leona is to release her new album Glassheart on November 28.
